<\/p>\nThe Mississippi River is known for it’s great fishing and Lansing is no exception. If you come by boat, we have 2 marinas (one owned by the city) and we also have a boat launch on the south side of town. <\/p>\n
Trout fishing<\/strong> in Lansing Iowa is a little more exceptional- finding accessible spots can be difficult. In Lansing, we have great trout fishing spot called ‘Clear Creek Park’ which can be found by traveling west on our Main St. (Highway #9) and continuing about a mile outside of town. Look for the Iowa Department of Transportation’s familiar brown sign with a fish hook and fish on it.
