https://www.mylansingiowa.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Ipod-023.JPG958531 Village Creek Boat Landing Lansing Iowa has a recently updated a boat launch to the Mississippi with a very large parking area located just about 1.5 miles south from Main St. To find the boat launch from Main Street, go to The River and make a right on South Front Street. Continue south along Front Street for about 1.5 miles and make a right hand turn on County Rd X42 and the entrance is about 300 feet on the left. The launch has new concrete pads and piers and sufficiently deep water to launch just about any boat, from the pictures below you can see there is more than ample parking and several ramps from which you can launch your boat! Below are a few more pictures of the information kiosk as well as the parking area.
